Rana Sanaullah took two plots as a bribe for registering an illegal colony

 

 The cost of both the plots was quoted as 9 lakh rupees, which is very less than the planned rate, causing damage to the exchequer, Punjab Chief Minister's Anti-Corruption Adviser Retired Brigadier General Mossadeq Abbasi accused the interior minister.


 Adviser to the Punjab Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption, Brigadier General Mossadeq Abbasi, said in a press conference that Rana Sanaullah had taken two conspiracies as a bribe to register the illegal colony. A case was registered against him in Punjab and during investigation it was revealed that Rana Sanaullah, who was the provincial law minister at the time, had attended the inauguration of Bismillah Housing Society Kaler Kahar along with his wife. In exchange for registering the company, two plots of land measuring ten canals, eleven marles and ten canals, seven marles were taken as bribes.

 The entry and demise of both plots were revealed by the sale.


 The chief minister's adviser further said that the land was transferred to Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Bismillah Housing Society at a much lower rate than the scheduled rate. He stated that during the investigation it was also proved that the plot number 18A and 139A O its existence is not registered yet. Therefore, the entry of plot No. 18A and 139A in the register No. 171/1 and 172/1 dated December 12, 2017 falls under the category of creating false and forged documents, which is an anti-corruption offense.

 He said during the investigation, it was also revealed that Rana Sanaullah had revealed the price of two plots at 9 lakh rupees, which was much less than the scheduled rate, thus damaging the exchequer. He further said that Bismillah Farm Housing. The scheme of Tehsil Kaler Kahar District Chakwal is yet to be approved and the land is still owned by Rana Sanaullah and his wife.

 Brigadier General (R) Mossadegh Abbasi said the case was registered in 2019 but Rana Sanaullah did not appear in the anti-corruption case in that case. He was summoned on 6 October but failed to appear for which a non-bailable warrant is issued and at that time an anti-corruption team is present at Kohsar police station to arrest Rana Sanaullah.

 Brigadier General (R) Mossadeq Abbasi said that anti-corruption was taking indiscriminate action against corrupt elements and no one was above the law. If he has also committed a crime, he will be prosecuted according to the law. Mossadegh Abbasi further said that our team has reached Kohsar Police Station, now we have to see the cooperation of Kohsar Police Station. If the police do not cooperate, then we will go to court.
