According to the French news agency AFP, Justin Trudeau joined the march with the participants of the demonstration against the killing of Mehsa Amini.

While attending the rally on Saturday, Justin Trudeau said, "We have not forgotten the women, daughters, grandmothers, grandmothers and other allies in Iran."

It should be noted that more than 40 days have passed since the protests against the death of Mehsa Amini, a Kurdish Iranian woman in police custody.

Justin Trudeau addressed the protesters and shouted slogans in Farsi.

Addressing the Iranian community, he said: "We will stand by you." I'll walk with you, I'll hold your hand And we will stand by this beautiful community.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Trudeau's wife, Sophie Trudeau, addressed the demonstrators and said: "I stand with you because if the right of even one woman is violated, it is a disrespect for all women."

“We will not leave any of our sisters here,” he said.

Referring to the sanctions imposed by the Canadian government on Iranian officials, Justin Trudeau said these measures were taken because of the ongoing human rights violations by the Iranian government.

Protests against Mehsa Amini's death were also held in other Canadian cities, Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.

The United Nations human rights office on Friday expressed concern over the Iranian government's treatment of arrested protesters.

The United Nations says Iranian authorities are not returning the bodies of some people killed during the protests to their families.

At least 250 protesters have been killed and thousands arrested in nationwide protests in Iran, according to human rights organizations.
