  Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that gas supply to domestic and industrial consumers will be ensured in winter, a way will be devised to keep gas shortage low, business community will be provided with ease of import and export. According to media reports, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on foreign exchange challenges, the meeting participants were informed about the problems faced by the business sector in relation to import and export, under the leadership of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, gas supply during winter. A meeting was held regarding

 Secretaries including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ayesha Ghos Pasha and Mossadegh Malik attended the meeting. At the meeting, information was heard about the situation of demand and supply of gas in winter.


 Methods of gas supply for domestic and industrial consumers and ways to reduce the outage were considered, meeting participants were informed about the problems faced by the business world in connection with import and export, with the aim of facilitating import and export for the business community. Methods were discussed.


 In addition, the Director of the Asian Development Bank met with the Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar. Ongoing projects of ADB in Pakistan were discussed in the meeting. The finance minister expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by ADB after the floods. The finance minister appreciated the Asian Development Bank's announcement of a $1.5 billion loan for Pakistan. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said ADB's assistance to Pakistan in this difficult time is commendable.

 On the other hand, Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadegh Malik said in a press conference that he has managed the amount of gas that was last year, Pakistan will become self-sufficient in the energy sector for three years and electricity prices in Pakistan will also decrease in the coming time. Yes, 1.2 m3 power plants have already been installed, the shortage of electricity and gas will be reduced in the near future.
