Former federal minister Munis Elahi has addressed the issue of how anchor Imran Riaz Khan removed a camp set up for flood victims. According to details in a tweet by senior journalist and anchor Imran Riaz Khan on Saturday, it was alleged that the Punjab Police had asked him to demolish a camp set up for flood victims.
Imran Riaz Khan claimed that the Punjab Police had given one hour time to demolish the flood victims' camp at Liberty Chowk as a VVIP was likely passing through the model city. PML-Q leader Monis Elahi responded by taking notice of the tweet from the main anchor.
Munis Elahi in his tweets said brother Imran instead of emotions it would be better if you contact us. He said he spoke to the CCPO Lahore, he was told that because of the camp there was disruption to the operations of the cricket teams, so Imran was asked to shift the flood victims' camp at Liberty Chowk. Riaz Khan was convinced. Imran Riaz Khan will be allowed to camp wherever he wants.
