In the name of Tehreek-e-Labaik, a blasphemy fatwa was imposed on Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Ashraf Jalali, a leader of Tehreek-e-Labaik, said in a message posted on social media that Shah Mehmood Qureshi had spoken blasphemous words at a meeting of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Addressing Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi told the gathering that "O Chairman, you are welcome, Allah huma is welcome." Ashraf Jalali says it was an act of blasphemy that Imran Khan said this on behalf of Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Labik Allah huma labik is used only for Allah.
This act of Shah Mehmood Qureshi is not acceptable in any way.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Labik Allah Huma Labik in the background, the word is disbelief. Therefore, Shah Mehmood makes it clear to Qureshi that he should accept his mistake, seek forgiveness and repent. Shah Mehmood Qureshi will have to do penance by admitting his mistake in front of everyone. But if Shah Mahmood Qureshi does not accept his mistake and persists in his error, then this action will make Shah Mahmood Qureshi a disbeliever.
Ashraf Jalali also asked the leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf to take note of the verdict of Shah Mahmood Qureshi. If Shah Mehmood Qureshi does not apologize, he will also have to remarry. On the other hand, responding to this issue, Pir Afzal Qadri requested Shah Mahmood Qureshi to immediately hold a press conference to admit his mistake, apologize to the people and Allah and declare that he will not repeat such a mistake in future. . . If Shah Mehmood Qureshi did all this by mistake, then repent like Imran Khan. Shah Mahmood Qureshi should apologize, read the word again and become a Muslim and remarry.
