The National Assembly has been informed that no proposal is being considered to raise the minimum pension to Rs 25,000 per month. This was said in a written reply to the National Assembly on behalf of the Ministry of Finance to a question by Sheikh Fayazuddin.
The reply states that the current minimum pension is 10 thousand rupees per month, the government increases the minimum pension according to available financial options, at that time any proposal to increase the minimum pension to 25 thousand rupees per month. Not an option.
The House was informed that the subject of the Group Life Insurance increase was assigned to the Personnel Division. The House was informed that 75% of the pension is given to the widow in the event of the pensioner's death, no proposal to increase it to 100% is being considered.
