An announcement to reduce the price of petrol by 12 rupees 63 paise
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the price of petrol is being reduced by 12 rupees 63 paise, which will bring the new price of petrol to 224 rupees 80 paise, after the reduction of 12 rupees 13 paise per litre, the price of diesel will be 235 rupees 30 paise per litre. Liter has been fixed, the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 10 78 paise per litre, now the new price of light diesel has become Rs 186 50 paise per litre, after the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs 10 19 paise per litre, the new price is Rs 191. 83 paise per litre, petroleum product prices were implemented from 12 midnight. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while addressing the press conference said that the price of high speed diesel is being reduced by 12 rupees 13 paise, its price will be reduced from 247 rupees 43 paise to 235 rupees 30 paise. He said that the price of kerosene oil is decreasing by 10 rupees 19 paise, its price will decrease from 202 rupees 2 paise to 191 rupees 83 paise. Senator Ishaq Dar said that the price of light diesel oil will be Rs 186 50 paise after the reduction of Rs 10 78 paise, earlier its price was Rs 197 28 paise. The new prices are applicable from 12 midnight. He said that the first quarter has ended on September 30. While I visited the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) yesterday, I would also like to share some details. He said that in the month of September, 685 Billions of rupees have been collected, tax of 1635 billion rupees has been collected between 1st July to 30th September, the target was 1609 billion rupees, thus the revenue targets have been achieved. The Finance Minister said that refunds worth Rs 84 billion have been given during this period, while refunds worth Rs 62 billion were given in the first quarter of last year. He said i thought we would do it around 12 noon ok but I have come to know that the system is choked, a lot of people are trying to send returns, they are having trouble, also because of the flood." There have been requests from Income Tax Bars and various associations and trade organizations to give time to file tax returns, especially due to the floods. He said that therefore the last date for filing tax is being extended by one month, now the last date for filing income tax returns will be 31 October 2022, I request all people to file their returns this month.
